Four-to-the-floor, three-chord-and-a-could-of-dust, punk rock, Trauma School Dropouts are one of the most entertaining and unpredictable group of screw-ups ever to disgrace a stage (and now a recording studio). Rising out of the ashes of the should-have-been-but-were-too-far-ahead-of-their-time-punk-band Plaid…TSD have quickly become near-legends in that big mass of land north of N.Y.C. (known as Upstate). AND NOW, with their first album release - "Beach Party Dragstrip" - and a major U.S. club tour planned for this summer, they are ready to conquer the world. These five glowing-red-haired, trapped-in-puberty, beer-for-breakfast punks have caused more commotion and garnered more attention (ref. above), more quickly and more unanimously than any band since well before the musical void we call the 80's. This band, live, churns out the best gut-wrenching, fist-in-you-face, but fun-comes-first punk rock since The Romones. And "Beach Party Dragstrip" - their first venture into the digital domain, will permanently scrawl their name onto the great bathroom wall of punk rock immortality. Right from the first explosion, this CD has the energy, attitude, and blood-gushing fun that a punk rock CD should have. Unpretentious, crazy as hell, and loud as all get out, the kids will love it.
